Below are pictures from our recent testing and belt promotion. We had around 80 members testing, and 7 of those for recommended black belt, one for first degree and one for second degree. It was a wonderful testing and we are proud of all of you. Keep training hard!

Friday nights have turned out to be Family Night at Nixa TaeKwon-Do! We have Forms class at 6:30pm for all belt ranks and following forms class we have what Mr. Taylor likes to refer to as Friday Night "fights" which is our sparing class for green belts and above. Come out and enjoy the fun! See some of the photos below.

The Making Strides Walk was the biggest one yet! For their third year, and ours we had around 100 walkers from Nixa Taekwon-do participating, we have collected around $1500.00. The walk itself had around 5,000 walkers and they have made about $75,000. They are already planning for next year, and so are we! Thank you, for everyone who participated, and thank you Mr. Taylor for purchasing our shirts and Mr. Anderson for designing them, they were the best ones out there! Pictures are on facebook. The pictures below are from last years walk where we had 65 walkers and collected about $1300.00!

Belt Testing Schedule for 2012:
March 15th and 16th
May 10th and 11th
July 12th and 13th
September 6th and 7th
November 8th and 9th
January 10th and 11th of 2013
All testing will be on Thursdays or Fridays and will be at the school. Times for the testing will be White and Yellow Belts at 6:00pm and Green through Black Belts at 6:30pm.
Black Belts MUST test on Friday nights. You can find these dates posted at the school and on the event calendar on this website page as well.
